Favorite spot with fish in lavash , in the area of Karakey / Galata Port
This is not the first time in Istanbul — and every time we come back here for the freshest mackerel in lavash.
Although there have been noticeably more such places on the street over the past year, this point remains the most lively and in demand: here fish is fried right in front of you, cleaned and immediately served — flavor, heat, freshness!
Unlike other tents, where the fish can be ready, everything is constantly being prepared here, and it is immediately felt.
Every evening, being in the Karakey / Galata Port area, we come here — it's already a tradition for us. We take portions for the whole family. The taste is consistently excellent, the guys work quickly and with a smile.
If you want really delicious, hot and fresh mackerel in lavash, we highly recommend it! This is not just a snack, but part of an Istanbul evening.
It is possible to order a fish and sit next to it in a cafe.

It's a very cool place.A whole street of cafes near the Galata Bridge. The cafe serves the freshest fish in lavash, you can sit in the cafe and have a beer or coffee.

Very tasty fish in lavash. But prices were jumping on the afternoon of September 10. The fish cost 180 rubles, and the next evening it was 200 rubles.
There are queues, but they go fast.
We were already in March 2025. Fish 200lr. Everything is also delicious and juicy. We usually take fish from them and sit down in the Berlin Line (cafe opposite), order beer and salad. And it turns out to be a wonderful dinner.
