A tourist attraction. You can visit both the Garni Temple and the Geghard Monastery at the same time.
We reached Garni by taxi from Yerevan, and you can walk to this place from the Garni Temple. The road goes downhill into the gorge. The entrance to the territory cost 200 drams (about 50 rubles). per person.
The road in the gorge itself is landscaped, there is a tent with drinks, a car drives around the territory. The through passage is closed, but it doesn't matter. You can leave the gorge only from the point where the inspection begins.
The sight itself is impressive. It was scary for my daughter and my wife, there is a sign that the stones are falling, carefully, and the rocks are hanging over my head. Parking is a little far away. Some kind of "parking attendant" is running at the entrance and demanding money for something. I was sent and, in my opinion, was not very upset))) apparently they are often sent there)))
It's a wonderful place, I definitely show it to all the guests. I've been there 9 times already, I'm not tired of it. If nature in its purest form attracts you, then it is definitely worth a visit
