The place is pleasant due to the fact that it is located in a historical place, in general, I highly recommend going to Etchmiadzin, you can walk there all day and enjoy the beauty and silence.
The restaurant is in the style of an ancient castle, we were sitting on the street, ordered : Dolma, summer dolma, eggplant rolls, summer salad, cheese plate, lamb hashlama, tan, tea.
To be honest, expectations were high because of the rave reviews. The rolls are NOT fresh, they are not tasty from the refrigerator straight to the table.
Dolma is normal, I can't say that I just got better and also had a feeling that it wasn't a particularly fresh dish.
Hashlama is generally a shame: the meat was at most 50 grams, it was even funny, one fat and an empty broth. It's a pity that we didn't take a photo, we just didn't think of it. In defense of the broth, I will say that it was very tasty, and the meat too, I liked those tiny bushes, but there was nothing else there, by the way, potatoes too, the waiter said that this was how it should be. Lamb hashlama - 4000 drams.
Tan is delicious, tomato and cucumber salad too))))
And most importantly, my favorite is tea, they had tea with fresh ginger and lemon 👍🏼
Mikhail is very pleasant 🥰

A great place, I was on the advice of friends. Delicious food, large portions, reasonable price tag. Special thanks to the head waiter Mikhail for a nice conversation and caring service - to him and his team) I had dinner on the veranda, but inside there is a super interior in the style of the Middle Ages, it is definitely worth a look
A wonderful restaurant. The food is very tasty. Special thanks to the waiter Mikhail!!! A real professional, helped me choose the dishes, told me about everything. Impressions. I recommend it!!!
We came here to drink lemonade , but it turned out that we decided to eat here tightly. We had visited many establishments before and almost everywhere some dish spoiled our impression. Here, on the contrary, everything was very, very tasty, the portions are huge, the service is excellent. To tell the truth, this is the best place in Armenia compared to price and quality (in our personal opinion). We will be happy to come here again.
Very tasty food! Especially the block of "historical dishes".
Polite and pleasant waiters.
Great view of the library and Ararat (if you're lucky). The prices are inexpensive. It's an amazing place, we always stop here for lunch
10 out of 10, I can't find the words, how great everything was, the food was delicious, fresh. The service is at your level. Many thanks to Mikhail for such a reception.
A beautiful building with a medieval interior. Interesting menu, delicious dishes, large portions. The staff is very attentive, they will tell you in detail the composition of the dish, consult and pay attention if the portion is very large, and it is enough for two. There is no imposition of services and unnecessary dishes, everything is in moderation. But! Be careful, tips are already included in the receipt (as well as in all restaurants in Yerevan), they are written in a separate line, in sooo small print, but the waiter draws attention that tips are not included. Apparently, there is a calculation that tourists do not know the language, because the receipt is in Armenian. Yandex translator will help us. This nuance slightly spoiled the impression, but there are no complaints about the restaurant and the food itself.
The place is pretty. The emotions ended there. Of all the waiters, only one was polite and friendly.
I liked the variety of dishes, but the prices are above average in Yerevan.
The portions are not very large. And surprisingly bland.
I waited for about 5 minutes. One waiter went after her and disappeared, the second was looking for her at all the tables.
In addition, swallows live on the veranda, their trills are certainly cute, but a fallen bird barn 10 centimeters from my plate somehow spoiled the overall impression
In short, there is not enough competent management, but the institution has good potential.
The rating is low due to maintenance and shitting birds. (It would be possible to stretch the shadow of their waste products, especially considering that this is a place of nutrition)
The attitude of the waiters is disgusting. We ordered a dish, it just wasn't brought. After repeated treatment, they said that he was simply no longer there. They interrupted during the order and said that you don't need it, you don't need it.
I was with my family. Everyone really liked everything - the decor and the service and the service. The waiter was as polite and attentive as possible. The menu is very large, it is difficult to decide. I recommend.
Average. An interesting location. Among the advantages: a view of Ararat, efficient staff.
Of the cons: dolma is tough, hashlama is just veins and fat.
The price tag, in comparison with Yerevan, is overstated by 20-25%.
Terrible waiters, because of the "service" which we never saw, managed to order. The waiter didn't say hello, but waited for us to say hello.
Immediately upon entering, I asked for a menu (I have stomach problems and had to figure out if I would eat this). As a result, the waiter handed it over and rudely asked, "will you sit down or not"? We were a little crazy, but we passed. I just opened the menu (by the way, it was all kind of dirty and greasy) so the waiter immediately asked if we looked or not. Really, less than a minute has passed! And they have a whole stack of these menus, a lot of empty tables.
I told him, "why are you asking him for a menu so quickly, do you have one for all cafes?" To which I received the answer: "actually, we don't have a cafe, but a RESTAURANT!" and laughed at his brilliant joke with colleagues. We left right away. Boors!
Why does the owner of the restaurant not read reviews, why does he not monitor the staff? I understand that the place is a tourist destination and people are taking everything, but you can lose even those customers who do not want to make an order - this is how they will be met at your place.

Despite the fact that this is a tourist place and it would seem that the quality should not be very good, it turned out to be the opposite. The prices are reasonable for such a place, the portions are large. I really liked the quality of the cuisine and dishes. I have very good impressions. 10% is included in the bill, but it is everywhere in Yerevan and it is written in the menu, you just need to pay attention. There are no questions or complaints about the rest of the points. I was pleasantly surprised by the establishment.
A very atmospheric place, not far from the Echmiadzin monastery, designed in the medieval Armenian style. There is a cozy veranda with a beautiful view. The cuisine is sooo delicious - a wide menu of Armenian dishes (only lamajo is missing)))
The waiters are polite and attentive.
I highly recommend it! The atmosphere has been preserved since the 17th century, it is impressive. I tried dolma from the dishes, it's delicious. Everything is definitely delicious there, because the chefs cook according to the most ancient Armenian recipes.
Delicious food, beautiful presentation, pleasant live music. After a walk through the monastery, a great place for lunch) The food is not very fast, but it fits into the norms. The portions are mostly large.
Of all the dishes, I liked only baklava. Everything else in Yerevan restaurants tastes better. The staff is very polite and attentive. Prices are slightly above the average for this region.
It's a very cool place. The atmosphere is simple! Like an old castle, a palace, a refectory. I recommend it to everyone. And delicious. And juicy. The price tag is also good, adequate

About the cons: A very strange male waiter who gave out that "they certainly don't have lahmajun and pizza on the menu, because otherwise there would be a kindergarten."
There is no logic and no connection.
The phrase is about nothing, meaning zero. Apparently, it did not occur to the waiter that ordering specific dishes is not related to age. Echmiadzin Administration - teach etiquette to your staff.
Where do such people come from in the cafe service?
About food: The food is ordinary, there are no questions about it.
About the pros: The pianist was playing on the street, it was very beautiful
It's a very decent place. A full-fledged restaurant, delicious dishes. The waiters are great: they are watching your table, they will tell you about your choice.
A good cafe, the menu is extensive and interesting, the food is delicious, the service is also ok. The music is very pleasant and plays inexpensively. The minus menu is already very shabby, as if it hasn't been changed for several years. In general, we were satisfied.
Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere. The only thing we were wrongly told about the food: we asked for diet soups, and the one with meat turned out to be quite fatty and spicy according to our requirements. In general, I recommend it.
It's terrible, I ordered 6-7 positions, but there were only 1-2 edible ones, the kebab is terrible from mutton, it's generally disgusting to eat, it's better to go and sit in a cafe in the city than to overpay and eat terribly here.
